Mayday Assistance is a 24-hour emergency assistance help-point for travellers in need of help and advice about medical or related matters. We have a team of multilingual staff who will help in an efficient and sensitive manner. Our aim is that a dedicated staff member will remain, whenever possible, the same point of contact throughout the life of any case. We will deal fairly with all claimants and will be guided by industry best practise in every situation.

We will always consider costs and negotiate best price. We have developed an online case handling system, which allows us to collate and use all pertinent information quickly and efficiently. This also allows us to share information with relevant outside agencies eg loss adjusters, brokers, or underwriters. Our pricing is transparent, with no add-ons for ticketing etc. We are a small independent company, which allows us flexibility, enabling us to provide a bespoke service, which can be designed around your needs.

We are experienced and knowledgeable in providing cost effective emergency assistance. We also remain true to our specialised expertise and believe loss adjusting and ancillary claims handling is best left to other specialists.

Our expertise is making difficult situations less so. Our staff are guided by management with more 30 years of experience both on the ground and from the office.

We have an ethos of empathy and support along with a clear eye on costs. Our outreach staff, in-flight nurses, are all experience professionals who have held or do hold  senior positions in acute intensive care posts.

We have developed a case management programme that is unique to us, it has been created to enable us to manage files and information in a clear, logical and transparent way. All expenditure is shown and recorded and visible, all conversations and decisions likewise.

We can generate from this system real time reports all logged and dated at an instant .You are able to view and input  into an ongoing file at any time.

All reports and emails leaving our system are password protected in accordance with the data protection agency best practice guidelines.

We offer a multilingual translation and interpretation service for all major European languages as well as Arabic .This is in-house by our own staff .

These services are  provided at no extra cost  and are included in our file fee .We will only ever charge translation costs if we need to outsource to cover an unusual or obscure language. All of our staff have more than one language, most have at least three.
